Our Values

Trainee-Oriented

We focus on learner-oriented capacity development by supporting diverse youths and professionals across Africa who emerged from universities without the right labour market and/or entrepreneurship skills and competencies to secure gainful employment or self-employed required to advance in their lives.

NURTURE UNDERDEVELOPED TALENT

Our key strength lies in our unwavering commitment to nurturing the employability and entrepreneurial skills of young university graduates and early-and mid-career professionals across Africa to propel them toward their career aspiration.

EQUITY QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY

As a guiding principle, we seek equitable access, quality and relevance, and efficiency in our investments in capacity building, by providing wide access to opportunities for skills acquisition, learning that builds skills to meet labour market demands and value-for-money in the financing and provision of training to minimize waste of resources.

PARTNERSHIPS

Our learners are at the heart of our partnerships, where we rally multiple actors in skills development. With each member performing distinctive and complementary roles, a coalition of investors (government and the private sector, including employers and private training providers) is vital to making the most of investments in employability and entrepreneurship skills training.

While the private sector provides services to enhance access and quality; invest in on-the-job training to build skills; engagement with training providers ensure courses are aligned with the needs of the sector; engaging in national social dialogue would help prioritize skills development, encourage policy reforms to create enabling environment that would ensure investments in skills succeed.
