As a means of supporting development aid policies and effectiveness of aid in the global south, the Academy is involved in the evaluation of development projects, programs and policies using a combination of qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method analyses including all the actors concerned. Evaluating the worth and efficacy of projects, programs and services is a core component of the services offered by the Academy. With decades of experience in evaluating projects, programs and services across a wide variety of topic areas, our dedicated staff have become grounded in both baseline and endline evaluation methods.
Our staff undertake evaluations both process and outcomes at different scales and varying timeframes; and support clients to develop evaluation plans and frameworks; and to establish monitoring and evaluation processes. We work closely and collaboratively with our clients to cultivate their ownership of the evaluation process and to ensure that findings and recommendations are useful, practical and relevant to all stakeholders.
